The Award ceremony for the aforementioned prize took place on the 18 May, in Madrid. The Director of Patrimony and Procurement, Jaime Domínguez-Macaya shall attend to collect the award On behalf of the Basque Government.
New recognition
From the outset, the Basque Executives Electronic Public Procurement model has won numerous adherents and recognition. In fact, in addition to the Award received in the latest edition of TECNIMAP (Symposium for IT for the Modernisation of Public Administrations which brings together all administrations in the Spanish state), the European Union has established that it is a leading reference for the introduction of electronic procurement processes in Europe and the World Development Bank has included it in its catalogue of best practice.
